Why "Fill your Cup?"

Imagine this...

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes
along and bumps into you, making you spill your coffee
everywhere. Why did you spill your coffee? You spilled
your coffee because there was coffee in your cup!
No, not because someone bumped into you and made
you spill it. Had there been tea in the cup, you would
have spilled your tea.

The point being that the content of whatever is inside your cup, is what will spill out! Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which happens), whatever is inside you will spill out! It's easy to fake it until you are rattled.

So we have to ask ourselves, "what's in my cup?" When life gets tough, what spills out? Joy, gratefulness, peace, humility? Or does anger, bitterness, harsh words, and reactions come out?

You choose!

Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, kindness, gentleness, and love for others!

Come chat with me! Let's find out what's in your cup and work together to Fill Your Cup with the things that you want to have spill out!
